The Story Behind Still Between Photography, LLC

Photography began as a way for me to hold onto moments that felt too important to forget.

As life moved faster and the people I loved grew and changed, I realized how quickly seasons pass. The tiny details we think we'll always remember—the way a child reaches for a parent's hand, the laughter during family gatherings, the excitement of welcoming a new baby—often become memories before we realize it.

That's what inspired Still Between Photography.

The name Still Between Photography comes from my love for the moments that happen in between—the moments between poses, milestones, and major life events. They're the fleeting, often unnoticed moments that tell the real story and become the memories we cherish most.

I've always been drawn to storytelling and preserving memories. Over time, I realized photography allowed me to bring those passions together—capturing genuine connection while creating something families can hold onto for generations. I wanted to create more than beautiful images; I wanted to create a way for families to revisit the moments that make up their story.

Every session is an opportunity to document a chapter of someone's life, and it's a responsibility I never take lightly. Whether I'm photographing a newborn's first days, a family laughing together on a summer evening, or a couple celebrating the start of their next adventure, my goal remains the same: to create photographs that help you remember exactly how this season of life felt.

I also believe everyone deserves to have meaningful photographs of the people they love.

Too often, professional photography can feel out of reach for families balancing the realities of everyday life. That's why one of my goals through Still Between Photography is to create opportunities for families from all backgrounds to preserve their memories through affordable sessions, seasonal promotions, portfolio-building projects, and community-focused initiatives. I never want cost to be the reason a family's story goes undocumented.

Because the moments we treasure most aren't reserved for special occasions—they're found in everyday life, in growing families, in new beginnings, and in the connections we share with one another. Every family deserves photographs they can look back on, treasure, and pass down for generations.

Today, I have the privilege of documenting growing families, meaningful milestones, and everyday connections throughout Maryland. It is an honor to preserve these stories and create images that become more valuable with each passing year—reminders of the people, relationships, and moments that matter most.
